The Firekeeper Saga (first one Through Wolf's Eyes) by Jane Lindskold is my favorite series ever. Marvelous books, marvelous plots, marvelous language.

I also love The Age of Fire series (first one Dragon Champion) by E.E. Knight.

Also, if anybody's ever heard of the Redwall series (first one Redwall) by Brian Jacques, that's what got me into reading in the first place. ;3 I've read all but the latest book now.
...rest in peace, Mr. Jacques.

A Song of Ice and Fire (first one A Game of Thrones) by George R.R. Martin is pretty damn good, too.

If you're doing manga, I'd recommend Naruto. 8D
